This article is not from my end of Wales, but is an interesting account of the early onset of wildflower blooming in the South and West of the Principality that would seem to be similar to here in the North.

Hi Pat, it seems the whole weather system has been knocked out of whack wherever we live in the world. We can blame El Nino currently, but we also have to accept that in the long term our climate is also changing as a result of our own behaviour and that sadly things may never return to our idea of ‘normal’ seasonal weather, at least not in our lifetimes.

Crazy weather patterns here with El Nino. We had cherry trees blooming in early January, then a blizzard last week. I have a feeling there will be a lot of set backs. I live in a belt in Ohio that has remained moderate with storms going north and south. The last few days have been 58 -60, but will drop again during the week.
