All of the images I use in my blogs are photographs I have taken myself, unless otherwise stated, so although I’m not precious about sharing, I would just like to say that:
The copyright for all of my work and photographs is legally mine by default, (as is everyone else’s). I am happy to share images and allow re-publishing of work, but would ask that it is attributed to me at http//theresagreen.me and that it’s not used commercially or for financial profit in any way without my permission – please and thank you!
The blog images
My aim for my blog posts is firstly to present a general impression of a place at the particular time I visit it so others may see it as it was; then I add in any details within it that space that caught my eye. I think that no matter how many times you visit a place, it rarely looks exactly the same as it did before; something will have changed if only the time of day or the weather. To that end, I use the photographs I take as a visual notebook and memory aid, and they often give me the framework for a post, which is linked together with words.
When it comes to taking images of something I may want to identify later, or to present in the blog, I will always try to obtain a well-focussed and well-angled shot, preferably more than one if it’s a moving subject such as an insect. That’s one of the many reasons I’ve ended up with files full of countless numbers of photographs, which one day I’ll find time to go through and sort out ….. (maybe).
everyday nature trails 
Hi Theresa, I like your bee and pollinator pictures and would like to use a few for a display for the Environment Day of the Addingham Environment Group on West Yorkshire in May. I hope that will be all right. No commercial gain – just spreading the word!

Hi Theresa, Just stumbled across your website, which I found very interesting. Is it possible to use a few of your images in a talk I’m putting together? The images are – Burnet Rose, Sea plantain, Old man’s beard. The talk is about plant names. I do a few talks for local groups [gardening clubs, WI etc], many of which are struggling to survive, with small memberships but speakers costing upwards of £80. So I do my talks for free, and I don’t charge for travel either [not that I go far – just locally]. I do sometimes get a donation for charity [in my case it is The Children’s Society] which is nice. I’d like to use some of your excellent photographs on my blog Science on the Land. Would that be all right? As you know, I use photographs with permission from our fellow blogger Finn Holding at the Naturephile, and also from individual scientists I’ve contacted after reading their papers. And I use the not-for-profit Centre for Bioscience Imagebank which I’m sure would love to receive pictures from you.

Thank you for your interest Robert, It is a beautiful piece of art isn’t it? I took that photograph in Leicester University Botanical Gardens in August 2011 (https://theresagreen.wordpress.com/2011/08/22/north-wales-to-middle-england-via-a-few-gardens). There has been a sculpture exhibition in the gardens each summer for around a decade now, I believe that year’s may have been the tenth. I haven’t visited recently, so have no idea if it is still there I’m afraid.
