HABITATS: WOODLAND/WOODLAND EDGE; OPEN HEATH; GRASSY MEADOWS; ALLOTMENTS; BORDERING RESIDENTIAL
Raptors
Buzzards have successfully nested and bred here for the last few years and you are unlucky if you fail to see one or more circling over the Bryn. particularly on its western side. I’ve seen Sparrowhawk on the woodland edge around meadow areas and near the house ruins. Kestrels hover over grassy areas around the summit.
Buzzard Buteo buteo; Kestrel Falco tinnunculus; Sparrowhawk Accipiter nisus

Most likely to be seen around the car park & allotment areas:
House Sparrow Passer domesticus Greenfinch Chloris chloris Starling Sturnus vulgaris; Collared dove Streptopelia decaocto Jackdaw Corvus monedula
Magpie Pica pica, & Carrion Crow Corvus corone – may be seen throughout the site and nest in trees on the woodland edge. They can often be seen in family groups foraging in the grassy meadow areas towards the summit.
Raven Corvus corax – there is a long-established nesting site on the cliffs of the Little Orme, which is just a short flight away and I have seen Raven many times on the summit area of Bryn Euryn.
